Online Zoom sessions

Since lockdown we have been able to successfully transfer some of our sessions online. It has been a very steep learning curve for us all, not just getting used to managing the technology but also working out how best to organise and structure the sessions. Lots of support and encouragement for each other has helped as have the many suggestions as to how we can improve the online experience.  We are continually improving the way we do things and a big plus has been the mixing of students from different geographical locations.  Over the summer students were also able to benefit from the online teaching of Master Dr Jin Ye who is based in Huddersfield. Feedback has been very positive and a number of students have been able to attend more than one session each week during lockdown. There have also been a number of requests to continue with some online sessions when the face to face classes are back up and running.
